Full-Service Inns
The major difference between a B&B and a full-service inn is the
opportunity to enjoy dinner at your place of lodging. In most cases,
full-service inns are also larger, with more rooms than the average
B&B.
Almost all of our full-service inns also offer you historic
surroundings and rooms that have been individually decorated with
antiques and period reproductions.
Smaller inns usually have more intimate dining rooms and may serve
dinner only to their house guests; some require advance reservations.
You may also find a limited menu with only two or three entree choices,
or there may be a fixed-price menu. Sometimes dinner is served only
at a specified hour. The larger inns are more like hotels with full
restaurants, extensive menus, and regular dining hours for two or
more meals per day.
